Our client, a hugely successful Tech company, are now looking for a Head of Project Management, accountable for project delivery from inception, delivery through to transfer to BAU. You and your team will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects from short term feature improvements to multi stakeholder business transformation projects. Working closely with your own team members and the development & consulting teams, you will manage the resourcing, budget, and delivery of these projects to deadlines. Above all you will focus on risk, business and financial.

Responsibilities:

• Owns the Project Delivery, Creates and executes project work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

• Manages day to day operational aspects of a project and scope

• Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to relevant stakeholder

• Effectively applies their methodology and enforces project standards

• Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures

• Minimizes their exposure and risk on project

• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

• Oversight, mentoring of your team

Key Skills and Background:

 

• Proven track record of delivering IT projects, large and small, on time and on budget 

• Experience of managing Web and Mobile projects (iOS and Android)

• Excellent communication skills

• High level of self- confidence a natural leader

• Brilliant client facing skills incorporating significant commercial experience

• Media and managed service background

• A background in software development

• A recognized Project Management Qualification

• Strong leadership and team management skills
